Foster had rented a single-family home from landlord John Schutt starting in 2018 for $1,900 per month. Schutt, in turn, was ordered to pay Foster $545 for unpaid wages related to property renovations she had managed for him. By that point, the late fees had accumulated for 1,062 days.
